Cranial asymmetries and flat head
Flattening or asymmetry of the baby's skull, often linked to the position in the womb, to the birth or to sleeping habits.
Osteopathy for babies, infants and children, alongside paediatric follow-up. Trained in the whole-person care of infants and their cranial asymmetries, I see your child in three practices in Brussels.
The situations parents come for most often.
Flattening or asymmetry of the baby's skull, often linked to the position in the womb, to the birth or to sleeping habits.
Head always turned or tilted to the same side, difficulty turning the head the other way.
A baby who cries after feeds, squirms, brings up a lot of milk or seems uncomfortable digesting.
Difficulty latching on to the breast or the bottle, long or painful feeds, a preference for one side.
Difficulty falling asleep, frequent waking, a baby who cannot find a comfortable position.
Postural milestones: head control, rolling over, sitting, crawling, walking.
I trained in the whole-person care of infants and their cranial asymmetries at the Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques in Quebec, after five years of study at the Institut Supérieur d'Ostéopathie in Lille. Perinatal care and visceral techniques are at the heart of my practice.
With babies, osteopathy relies on very gentle, painless techniques. A consultation lasts 50 minutes and you stay with your child from start to finish.
Osteopathy does not replace the paediatrician or the doctor. I work alongside their care and I refer you back to them as soon as a situation calls for it.

From the first weeks of life. Many parents come after a long birth, a caesarean birth, or a birth with instrumental assistance.
No. The techniques are very light. Your child may cry from tiredness or hunger, as at any other moment of the day. The session follows their rhythm.
Often one to three sessions. From the first consultation, I tell you clearly what I suggest next.
No. Osteopathy works alongside the care of the paediatrician or the doctor, never in its place. I refer you back to them if there is any doubt.
Your child's health record, and any recent test results. For yourself, comfortable clothes are enough.
