Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

The answers to the questions that parents and patients ask me most often.

Babies and children

From what age can a child be seen?

From the first weeks of life. Many parents come after a long birth, a caesarean birth, or a birth with instrumental assistance.

Does the session hurt my child?

No. The techniques are very light. Your child may cry from tiredness or hunger, as at any other moment of the day. The session follows their rhythm.

How many sessions are needed?

Often one to three sessions. From the first consultation, I tell you clearly what I suggest next.

Is a medical referral needed?

No. Osteopathy works alongside the care of the paediatrician or the doctor, never in its place. I refer you back to them if there is any doubt.

What should I bring?

Your child's health record, and any recent test results. For yourself, comfortable clothes are enough.

Practical

How long does a consultation last?

50 minutes, for a baby as for an adult. 45 minutes at Osteonatal in Auderghem.

What is the fee?

€65 per consultation. Payment on site: cash, Bancontact or Payconiq.

Can I cancel an appointment?

Yes, free of charge up to 12 hours before the appointment, from the booking platform.

Is the consultation reimbursed?

A certificate is given to you after each session. Some health insurance funds contribute to the cost of osteopathy sessions, under their own conditions. Ask yours.

Do you consult in English?

Yes. Consultations take place in French or in English.
